Problem: Computer boot up fail with NTLDR error
Cause:
- System fail to locate a correct/proper bootable source
- inproper configure of boot source
- non-bootable source (boot from USB or non-bootable CD)
- corrupted boot file due to power failure or Windows update
- Damage or loose IDE Cable
Solutions:
- Reboot PC. Sometime reboot make the magic
- check and remove USB / CD/ Floppy disk
- Check bios
- make sure HDD dedected
- make sure correct boot sequence
- Restore 2 important file NTLDR and ntdetect.com (detail instruction)
- if you get error "NTLDR is compressed" (detail solution)
- Repair the boot.ini file (detail instruction)
- Repair partition boot sector (detail instruction)
- Repair Master Boot Record (detail instruction)
