Some names, no matter how catchy or edgy, might not make the cut. These are what we call “Sensitive Names.”

Think of Sensitive Names as those that might raise eyebrows or spark controversy. They're the names that could be seen as scandalous, obscene, or offensive things you wouldn’t want to say out loud at a family dinner. This includes names tied to certain themes like explicit content (words associated with sex), gambling (like “bet”, “casino” or “poker”), profanity, racial slurs, and even references to terrorism.

Our Registry system is designed to catch any potentially sensitive names and flag it. However, the context in which these names are used matters. If the name is flagged but doesn’t carry any negative connotation, it will likely be approved quickly. If it does hint at something sensitive, like gambling, the registration will be rejected just as swiftly.

For sensitive names definition, refer to Schedule D-3 “.my Dispute Resolution Policy and Rules” clause 2.1 in NEAP document.
